Modern Collision Repair Goes Beyond the Body

Today’s vehicles use cameras, sensors, radar, and other technology to support features designed to help drivers see hazards, maintain position on the road, and respond to changing traffic conditions. These Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS, can be connected to components throughout the vehicle. After a collision or certain repairs, those systems may require additional attention even when the vehicle looks completely repaired from the outside. Central Florida Paint & Body has the technology and repair capabilities to address ADAS as part of the complete collision repair process.

Our Process

When Does a Vehicle Need ADAS Calibration?

ADAS components can be located in windshields, bumpers, mirrors, grilles, and other areas commonly affected during a collision or repair. Work involving these areas can change the position or operation of cameras and sensors that rely on precise information about their surroundings. Our team identifies the systems involved, references applicable manufacturer procedures, and determines what diagnostics, repairs, or calibration procedures are required for the vehicle. ADAS work is then coordinated with the rest of the collision repair before the vehicle reaches final quality control.

Why Choose Us

The Technology Behind a Complete Repair

A vehicle can look repaired while the technology underneath still requires attention. Central Florida Paint & Body combines collision repair experience with the equipment, repair information, and technical capabilities needed to address advanced vehicle systems.

ADAS Diagnostics

Modern vehicles can use multiple electronic systems to monitor the road and surrounding traffic. Diagnostics help our technicians identify concerns and determine which procedures are required as part of the repair.

Camera and Sensor Calibration

Cameras and sensors rely on precise positioning and operation. When a collision or repair affects an ADAS component, calibration may be required according to the vehicle manufacturer’s procedures.

Integrated With Collision Repair

ADAS components are often located in the same areas being repaired after an accident. Addressing these systems as part of the larger collision repair helps keep bodywork and vehicle technology connected throughout the process.

Manufacturer-Specific Procedures

ADAS requirements vary by vehicle. Our technicians reference applicable manufacturer information to determine the procedures required for the systems involved in the repair.

They were trustworthy, reliable and reasonable. I chose them from several offers I had in the area. When I brought the car in for an estimate, they were friendly, caring, and attentive. I received the estimate, I went with them. It was reasonable. Chris and Stephanie were awesome. I was impressed. I would definitely go back and use them again if I needed to get my car fixed or painted. They did an awesome job. Definitely worth a 5 star review.
