EV Drivetrain Repair

You don’t need to know if the problem is the motor, drivetrain, or another EV system. If your electric vehicle has lost power, isn’t accelerating normally, or just doesn’t drive the way it should, contact Central Florida Paint & Body in Orlando. We’ll diagnose the concern and determine the right next step.

Committed To Excellence

Repair for the Systems That Keep Your EV Moving

Electric vehicles may not use a traditional gas-powered engine, but they still rely on complex components to turn electrical energy into motion and deliver power to the wheels. When something within that drivetrain isn’t operating properly, you may notice changes in acceleration, performance, responsiveness, or how the vehicle drives. Central Florida Paint & Body provides EV motor and drivetrain diagnostics and repair in Orlando. Our technicians can evaluate the concern, identify the affected system, and determine what your electric vehicle needs.

Our Process

Diagnosing EV Drivetrain Problems

Changes in how an electric vehicle drives don’t automatically tell you which component is responsible. That’s why the repair starts with diagnosing the problem rather than assuming the motor or drivetrain needs to be replaced. Our technicians evaluate the vehicle and use diagnostic information to determine where the concern is coming from. Once the affected system has been identified, we can determine the appropriate repair based on the vehicle and the problem.

Why Choose Us

Specialized Repair for Electric Drivetrains

EV motors and drivetrains require different knowledge and repair considerations than conventional engines and transmissions. Our EV capabilities allow us to diagnose the concern within the context of the vehicle’s larger electric drive system.

EV Drivetrain Diagnostics

When your EV isn’t driving or performing normally, diagnostic testing helps us identify the system involved before determining what needs to be repaired.

Electric Motor Repair

The electric motor is central to how your EV delivers power. Our technicians can evaluate motor-related concerns and determine the repair required for the vehicle.

EV Repair Expertise

Motor and drivetrain concerns can involve more than one system. Our broader EV diagnostic and repair capabilities allow us to consider the vehicle as a whole rather than focusing on one symptom.

They were trustworthy, reliable and reasonable. I chose them from several offers I had in the area. When I brought the car in for an estimate, they were friendly, caring, and attentive. I received the estimate, I went with them. It was reasonable. Chris and Stephanie were awesome. I was impressed. I would definitely go back and use them again if I needed to get my car fixed or painted. They did an awesome job. Definitely worth a 5 star review.
